CHST - 102.3 Bob FM

CHST – 102.3 Bob FM is an online radio station that is based in Canada. It can be heard live from London, Ontario at 102.3 FM radio wave frequencies.

This free downloadable internet radio uses the on air format of Bob FM which broadcast with an average effective radiated power up to 5.84 kW from the CFPL-TV tower located in Southwest London. However due to the Bob FM’s low ERP relative to some London are radio stations, its transmission signal is limited only to Middlesex, Elgin and Oxford countries.

Due to this, CHST – 102.3 Bob FM feels that they need to do something to reach far greater audience thus they enter the world of online radio. Currently, CHST – 102.3 Bob FM can be heard on radio station toolbars 24 hours a day and seven days a week.

This downloadable free radio channel was approved back in 1999 by the CRTC and was launched by the CHUM Limited in 2000. At first it uses the name STAR 102.3 and has a hot adult contemporary format. Later in July 2003 it was rebranded and named as Bob FM.

CHST – 102.3 Bob FM primarily plays adult hits from the 1980s and 1990s but they sometimes play hit songs from before and after that time period.

In 2007, CHST and the other CHUM stations were sold to CTVglobemedia and were later turn over to Rogers Broadcasting Ltd.
