Hope FM

Hope Fm is a radio channel that is available at online radio stations. It started broadcasting in 1993 as part of the Christmas Cracker radio project with the goal of giving the young people the opportunity to develop and enhance their broadcasting skills.

Hope FM free online radio station has grown throughout the years, starting from a small studio to the radio channel in the internet most in demand. It continuously change as it adapts and learn from its surrounding. And part of their adaptation is they entered the world of the internet as it can be downloaded for free.

This free online radio has a Community Christian theme that transmits professional quality music thanks to its state of the art broadcasting equipments. Listeners usually comment that the music here has a personal touch that is vital for the listening community.

Currently, Hope FM broadcast Christian oriented music using a computerized system designed purely for radio transmission. It aim to provide positive and uplifting music and advises to the community of Christchurch. Its music style is contemporary Christian music which is inspired by praise and worship presented n various music styles namely country, mid-rock and MOR.  It is estimated that due to the use of internet radio, Hope FM has more than half a million listeners and still continuously growing.

Hope FM presenters and DJ’s are all volunteers but with outmost talent thanks to hours of training and patience in putting up great show.
